Content is vetted by a Content Oversight Panel (COP) made up of 911 stakeholders who will consider if it meets these critical criteria before approving its inclusion on Docs & Tools:

• Content is useful and relevant to 911
• Content is of high quality
• Content is objective (no bias)
• Content is accurate and from a reliable source
• If reviewing a standard, is it the most recent version available? (Whenever possible, it is the COP’s policy to link to the webpage where the standard is posted, not to the document itself)
• Will the content pose a conflict of interest, contain vendor advertisements and/or be in noncompliance with lobbying laws?
• In reviewing material linked to a website, is the website open and available to a wide audience?
